I ended up general-contracting my own projects and found a real passion for the work: taking an outdated kitchen, bathroom, or basement and turning it into something a family actually loves. I’ve helped family members run their own projects too. That’s where Precision Builders came from — a local, trusted resource that runs your project on time, on budget, and communicates with you clearly at every stage, from our first meet and greet through vision and material selection, scope of work, permitting, scheduling, project milestones, any changes that come up during construction, and the final walkthrough.
Before this, I spent years as a civil engineer working on projects worth billions of dollars. In 2016, that work sent me to Louisiana after the floods, where I met with homeowners directly to assess substantial damage to their homes — my first real look at what people go through when their home is on the line and they need someone they can trust to tell them the truth. I’ve also worked in the RV industry and in vehicle and RV financing, which, along with the engineering background, gave me a skill I use on every project: taking complicated information and communicating it clearly, so the project runs seamlessly instead of leaving you guessing.
That background is also why we move faster than most contractors without cutting corners — most projects that take other contractors months, we complete in a fraction of the time, because we’re efficient, detail-oriented, and understand that wasted time is wasted money.
Precision Builders is a registered supervisory general contractor (#NHC.0017593) based in Old Greenwich, serving homeowners and businesses across Fairfield County. “Supervisory general contractor” means I don’t hand your project off and disappear — I’m personally accountable from the first estimate through the final walkthrough.
